DIVISION CHIEF of PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY MEDICINE

Mobile, Alabama

The Medicus Firm has partnered with USA Health in sunny Mobile, Alabama (yes, where winter coats are optional), looking for a visionary, collaborative, and academically driven physician to serve as the nextDivision Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicineat the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine.

In this role, youll get to :

Lead a state-of-the-art 26-bed ED at the regions

only pediatric acute care facility

Shape the future of pediatric emergency medicine with innovation, research, and a strong cup of coffee

Recruit and mentor the next generation of PEM rockstars

Collaborate across specialties to deliver world-class care to Mobiles kids and their families

Build a brand-new PEM fellowshipbecause who doesnt love launching something great?

Qualifications

MD or DO with board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

Eligibility to obtain medical licensure in Alabama.

Academic rank preference of Associate or Full Professor at the University of South Alabama.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
