A healthcare system in New York City is currently seeking a licensedThoracic Surgeon to join their growing team in Brooklyn. In this role, the Thoracic Surgeon will be responsible forperforming a variety of surgical procedures to treat thoracic and cardiothoracic conditions.

Responsibilities :

TheThoracic Surgeonwill :

Assess the patient's overall health before surgery, discussthe risks and benefits of the procedure, and obtaininformed consent

Communicate with patients and their families to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes

Perform other duties, as needed
