Service Setting : Outpatient Clinic with hospital consults
Coverage Type : Clinical + Optional Call
Coverage Period : 11 / 17 / 2025 Ongoing
Clinical Shift Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00a 4 : 30p (34 days onsite; telehealth on off weeks)
On-Call Shift Schedule : Optional COVERAGE DATES
Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025
Duration : 52 weeks
Ongoing assignment with potential for permanent placement

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics : Adults, Geriatrics (18+ years)

Patient Volume / Census : 1215 patients per day

Admissions : Minimal rounding at hospital

Rounding : Included (minimal)

Phone Consults : Yes

Case Mix : Hematology / Oncology (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormone therapy, infusions; no BMT, no acute leukemias)

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System : Mosaiq

Office Equipment Available : Standard oncology clinic setup

Specialty Backup Available : Hospital consult support

Support Staff Available : Nursing and administrative support

Reason for Coverage : Supplemental coverage with locums-to-perm opportunity

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required : Yes (for consults)

Temporary Privileges Available : TBD

Credentialing Timeline : Expedited client committed to 2448 hour turnaround

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Travel : Billable to client

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Oklahoma medical license required at submission

Board : Board Certified in Hematology / Oncology

DEA : Active DEA required

Certifications : ACLS required, Oklahoma CSR required

Experience : Minimum 2 years in specialty

Other Qualifications : Must have clean background; proficiency with Mosaiq EMR preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide outpatient hematology / oncology care across multiple clinic sites

Perform hospital consults with minimal rounding responsibilities

Manage treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy

Utilize EMR system Mosaiq for documentation and patient management

Collaborate with clinical team to ensure continuity of care
