Veterinary Office Front Desk / Receptionist / CSR

REQUIREMENTS THAT YOU MUST HAVE :

  • Must have experience with Veterinary Software (Cornerstone , Avamark, etc.) Prior veterinary clinic experience for at least one year.
  • After initial training the hours will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 7 : 30 to 5 : 30 & Saturday 7 : 30 to 12 : 30. Schedule is flexible except for Fridays and Saturdays.

Full time at our clinic is 38 to 39 hours. You will get at least 38 - but still list at part time if you are applying for insurance through the Marketplace.

The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for customer service functions, including : greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms, scheduling and confirming appointments, placing outbound calls for follow-ups, and reaching out to prospective clients. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, able to multitask, works well with others, and has the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary :

  • The CSR is the first and last contact that a client will have with our clinic and a key to creating first and lasting impressions.
  • Greet clients and pets by name with a smile and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Answer phones promptly and professionally using a multi-line phone system, answering client inquiries about basic services.
