CNC Mill Machinist (MasterCAM experience prefered)

We are seeking skilled milling machinists capable of programming, setup and production during 1st shift. Join the M-1 team to work in a clean, modern, high-tech job shop with all newer machinery and equipment where you will work to produce high-end parts from prototypes to medium run production quantities.

Positions Available : 1st Shift, 6 : 00AM-4 : 30PM

• Requirements for a CNC Mill Machinist : Program, Set up, and Operator their own machines. Our Machinists are expected to work independently. Most machines are equipped with 4th or 5th axis rotary tables.
• Mastercam programming skills with ability to set up and operate vertical milling machines required.
• Must be able to program using CAD models, create geometry and alter programs at the machine control.
• Ability to interpret GD&T on blueprints and associated technical specifications, and follow work instructions and in-process inspection plans required.
• Mazak, Haas, and Matsuura 5-Axis experience a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills required to produce high quality and close tolerance parts.
• Knowledge of Aerospace quality system requirements and production environment preferred.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours : 45 – 55 per week

Experience :

Machining : 5 years (Required)

MasterCAM programming : 5 years (Required)
