Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this full-time Strengthening Families Program (SFP) position will be to work with families and children. This position will monitor programmatic data report and coordinate with community partners. This position will also be an active participant in implementing the program. Additionally this position does include community work and will require evening hours up to two days per week on a rotating basis.

The selected applicant must be willing and able to travel to all Worcester County Health Department sites.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience : Two years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.

Notes :

1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess :

• Experience working with community partners.
• Experience managing grants and budgets.
