Position Title : Accounts Payable Analyst

Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join a growing finance team with the opportunity to train into a leadership position within Accounts Payable. This is a senior-level AP role, ideal for someone ready to take ownership of the payables function and evolve into a manager. The position is part of a broader effort to build out a strong financial infrastructure, with a focus on process improvement and strategic vendor management.
Key Responsibilities :
Own the accounts payable aging report; ensure timely payments and proper reconciliation
Ensure invoices are accurately coded and entered into the system in a timely manner
Monitor and follow up on weekly payment direction and daily insurance-related payments
Liaise with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial coding
Coordinate with OSV on invoice coding; limited involvement in full-day invoice entry
Use Excel for reporting, reconciliation, and trend analysis
Work closely with FP&A and Assistant Controller to support cash management and forecasting
Support system optimization and future transition into an AP manager role
Required Qualifications :
years of experience in accounts payable or related financial operations
Strong Excel skills (reporting, pivot tables, reconciliations)
Experience with Workday is highly preferred; NetSuite or Oracle is also acceptable
Excellent communication and follow-up skills; able to manage vendor relationships professionally
Highly organized with a strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Understanding of invoice coding and general ledger interaction
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative finance team
