Staffing Manager
Location : Oakland County MI
Reports to : Director of Operations
About the Role
SIGMA HomeCare is seeking a Staffing Manager to lead internal recruitment and workforce placement operations. This position is responsible for managing external team members who coordinate Direct Care Worker (DCW) assignments to clients. Youll play a key role in ensuring our clients receive timely appropriate care while keeping shift coverage rates high and client satisfaction strong.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Recruitment & Onboarding
Recruit interview and onboard internal staff for care coordination and scheduling roles
Post and manage job ads screen candidates and conduct interviews
Handle onboarding compliance document tracking and system setup for new hires
Staffing Oversight & Coordination
Supervise internal staff who are responsible for aligning DCWs with client schedules
Maintain up-to-date caregiver availability logs and client preferences
Monitor responsiveness reliability and call-off recovery planning
Track metrics such as fill rates time-to-hire and staffing gaps
Planning & Collaboration
Collaborate with care and client services teams to forecast staffing needs
Lead weekly team huddles and provide staffing performance updates
Support accountability training and scheduling process improvements
Requirements
2 years of experience in staffing workforce coordination or internal recruitment
Experience in home care human services or healthcare preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead hiring pipelines and supervise onboarding workflows
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with ATS platforms and scheduling systems
Based in or near Oakland County MI and able to work onsite / hybrid
