GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Associate I, Material Handler (Lab) supports and performs the general Distribution Center operation which is responsible for the receipt, storage and distribution of all materials and supplies. This position works through tasks, duties and meets distribution metrics; as well as ensures proper distribution of supplies to and from DaVita Labs and DaVita Clinics. This position reports to the Supervisor, Distribution Center (Lab).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Package and ship supplies

Constructs boxes and fill with proper materials

Labels boxes for shipment

Kits material

Sorts specified material

Identifies re-usable items versus damaged or soiled

Safely operates equipment

hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks along with other Distribution Center equipment

Identifies hazardous materials

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

0-2 years experience preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Basic Computer skills required

Knowledge of shipping system program, WMS, Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) and Service Now software programs required
