We are currently seeking an experienced Engineer to provide critical support within the Navy's Operational Energy Office. This group works to extend the operational reach of both current and future weapons systems through both R&D and an advanced understanding of effective uses of energy. • Evaluating R&D proposals from a technical perspective in order to make solid recommendations on funding.
• Reviewing Department of the Navy energy strategies used to identify gaps or obstructions that may prevent achievement of energy goals.
• Assessing Technical Readiness levels from low tech up to development / prototyping and beyond.
• Tracking and aiding in the transition of 6.3 and 6.4 level technology.
