Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $31 per hour in Show Low, AZ

24 beds - MedSurg with Tele capability on all beds - Adults and Peds, but travelers do not take peds unless they hold a PALS - these are assigned to perm staff -Must be strong in Neuro and Cardiac skills - 1 years of experience required - ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required - PALS preferred - Shifts : 12 hours - 36 hour guarantee - EMR : Sunrise Allscripts - Support staff on unit : Tele techs, charge nurse, HUCs and PCTs - Nurse to patient ratios : 1 : 5 days; 1 : 6 nights; 1 : 4 peds -also based on level of acuity - Nurse managers don't provide patient care, but they do rounds - Float to all MS units and ICU (taking MS overflow patients) - Hospitalist in house 24 / 7 - No IV team - Resp Therapist 24 / 7 - Pharmacy 24 / 7 - Scrub color : any color except all black - Scrubs not provided
