About The Position

Job Title : Speech Therapist

Job Specialty : Rehabilitation Therapy - Speech Therapist

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week

Experience : Not specified

License : State License Verification required

Certifications :

  • LA Fire Safety Card (renewed every 4 years)

Must-Have :

  • Negative Drug Screen Results
  • Physical Examination
  • 1 Step PPD or Quantiferon or Proof of Positive PPD and Chest X-Ray

    • Job Description :

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Offer strategies and exercises to help patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Provide patient and family education on speech and language disorders.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and infection control procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
