Infectious Disease Physicians, Inc (IDP) was established in 1980 as a private practice located in Fairfax County, Virginia, which is approximately 10 miles from Washington, DC. IDP is a nine-physician single specialty practice dedicated to the treatment and prevention of adult infectious diseases with service lines of hospital medicine, subacute care, and a thriving outpatient practice including an onsite infusion program. The group is involved in infection prevention, antibiotic stewardship, Department of Health collaborative projects, HIV care and transplant infectious diseases. Members are involved in teaching at medical school (UVA) and residency levels. Physicians in the practice have many opportunities to develop their areas of interest and craft their careers according to their interest.

Our physicians round at Inova Fairfax, a tertiary care 923 bed flagship hospital of the 5 hospital Inova system and Inova Alexandria Hospital, a smaller community hospital.

We are located close to the nation’s capital, a 30-mile drive to beautiful country vineyards, a 60-mile drive west to the mountains, and ninety minutes from the Chesapeake Bay. Qualifications :
