Ideal Accounting Manage r candidates should be hard working, autonomous, and organized. Candidates should be eager to join a multi-disciplinary team of providers, collaborating to provide an individualized treatment approach that recognizes each child's individual needs and personality.

Accounting Manager Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department for Blue Bird Day, Eyas Landing, and Merlin Day Academy.
• Manage all aspects of the general ledger and month-end / year-end close process.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Establish and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.
• Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles in alignment with GAAP
• Support audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with external auditors
• Oversee and support the accounts payable and revenue reconciliation functions.
• Work with the revenue cycle and billing departments to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Monitor payer reimbursement trends, patient receivables, and operational cost
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and other finance team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
• Collaborate with department managers to prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to leadership to support strategic decisions.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience :

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
