Emergency Medicine Physician (Locum Tenens)

Location : Cambridge, OH / Athens, OH

Position Overview :

Seeking an experienced Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverag. This position requires a commitment of at least 5 shifts per month.

Key Details :

Start Date : March 2025 (credentialing required : 45-60 days)
Shift Schedule :
Physician Shifts : 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM, 7 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM
APP Shifts : 9 : 00 AM 9 : 00 PM, 11 : 00 AM 11 : 00 PM, 2 : 00 PM 2 : 00 AM
Weekend Coverage : Required
On Call : Not required
Annual Volume : 24 500 visits

EMR System : MediTech
Transfer Locations : Riverside, Grant, Genesis, OSU, Aultman (OB)
Transfer Rate : 4.94%

Compensation :

Hourly Rate : $260 / hour

Requirements :

Education : Must be Board Certified by ABMS / AOA (double board certification by ABPS is acceptable)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine

Licensure : Active Ohio license REQUIRED (IMLC not accepted)

Certifications :

ACLS

COVID-19 vaccination REQUIRED

Additional Notes :

Providers must be available for a minimum of 5 shifts per month consistently
