Job DescriptionFL-DOE-OSFA-Budget Analysts-Policy Analyst - The candidate will be doing professional accounting, budgeting & financial reporting.The training will be very technical & a very good understanding of accounting is critical for success in this jobWORK ENVIRONMENT : Professional officeCANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintains various specialized accounting records
• Compiles and analyses of large amounts of financial data
• Ability to read and interpret statutes and regulations
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Pronouncements
• Understanding of Genal Ledgers, Trail Balances, and GAAP Financial Statements
• Knowledge of Microsoft (ex. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)MANDATORY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE :
• Must have CPA or BS in Accounting
• Must have 10+ yrs of working with FASB / GASB
• Must have 10+ yrs of financial statements preparation
• Must be advanced in Microsoft Office
• Must have General Ledger systems experience (Quickbooks, PeachTree, CYMA, FLAIR, etc.)
• Ability to create, update and manage desk procedures
