Title : MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST - ACUTE LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR (LMHC)

Summary : Mental Health Therapist Acute LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) works with patients to promote optimum mental and emotional health.

Qualifications

Education / Training

Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy is required or related field.

Licensure / Certification

Maintains Florida state (Chapter 491 Florida Statutes) licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Handle with Care (HWC) Certification required for Behavioral Health Unit.

Experience

Two (2) years of direct clinical experience preferable in a health or mental health setting with an emphasis on population to be served in the assigned area.
