Friday to Sunday, 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM, including floating, holidays, weekends, on call / callback, and charge per unit as needed.

Job Description

Join our dynamic pre / post interventional radiology department within a level 1 Trauma center. This fast-paced environment serves both inpatient and outpatient populations across a range of ages. As a registered nurse, you will play an integral role within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on the pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care for patients. Experience in GI post-procedural care is preferred, but not required. Good communication skills and critical thinking abilities are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Manage pre and post-procedural care for Interventional Radiology patients.

Provide overnight observation care for patients boarding pre or post procedure.

Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

2 years of Registered Interventional Radiology Nursing experience.

Telemetry experience is required.

Current New York RN license.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
