Position : Siemens Field Service Technician

Location : Charlotte NC

Salary Range : 79,000 - 83200, per diem, overtime over 8 hours in a day, double time on weekends, yearly bonus

Travel : 50% domestic and international

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Siemens Field Service Technician to join our team, providing advanced technical solutions and support for our OEM packaging equipment customers. This role is ideal for an experienced Field Service Technician with Siemens expertise, a passion for problem-solving, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

Installation of new, updated and / or retrofitted filling equipment
Programming of application and systems software to meet customer expectations
Strong customer support experience and onsite production runs
Troubleshooting and resolution of Siemens equipment
Perform service based on clients requirements
Timely, complete and accurate service report filing
Collaborate with team members company wide

Required Qualifications :

A high school diploma or higher is required

5+ years experience in a related field or industry

3+ years of Field PLC controls with Siemens

Machine tool product knowledge

Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics and machine specifications

Proficient electrical technical skills

Availability for travel, mainly domestic but occasionally international

Experience with the metric system is preferred

Strong decision making skills and confidence in technical knowledge

Works well in demanding environments and is able to collaborate with other professionals for solutions

Exceptional customer service skills are required

Ability to creatively and independently troubleshoot and solve technical problems

Along with a highly competitive base salary of $110-105k per year & daily per diem while traveling

20 PTO days annually, plus 11 paid holidays
