CLASSIFICATION / STATUS : Non-Exempt, Permanent, Full Time OR Part Time

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR : Nurse Manager

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : None

CLINICAL SUPERVISORS : Lead Medical Assistant, Nurse Manager, Director of Nursing and Clinical Operations primarily, with Family Physicians, and Family Nurse Practitioners providing additional floor supervision regarding individual patient care.

PAY RANGE : Band B ($21.00 - $27.00 / hour)

• Earn up to an additional $1,000 annually in retention and performance bonuses

The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to keep the Medical Department running smoothly. The duties of Medical Assistant include but are not limited to taking medical histories, taking vital signs, managing patient flow, faxing, prescription requests, inventory and stocking, preparing instruments for use as well as any other duty assigned by supervisors.

Recent graduates of an MA training programs or certified CNAs

Core clinical and administrative MA responsibilities

$21.00 - $22.00 / hour

Tier 2

1+ years MA experience

All Tier 1 responsibilities

$22.00-$23.00+ / hour

Tier 3

2+ years MA experience (1+ in ambulatory care)

All Tier 1 & 2 responsibilities

$23.00-$24.50+ / hour
