Job Summary :

Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, is seeking a talented Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team on a per diem basis. As an SLP at Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing high-quality speech therapy services to help individuals recover and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills to establish individualized treatment plans
• Develop and implement effective speech therapy programs to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, utilizing a variety of techniques and strategies
• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and efficient patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress
• Participate in patient care conferences and staff meetings to share knowledge and best practices
