Position Overview :
As a Medical Assistant , you will be responsible for assisting physicians and healthcare providers in delivering efficient and high-quality patient care. You will handle both clinical and administrative duties to ensure smooth operations within the office and the best experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Care : Greet and prepare patients for examinations, take vitals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature), and assist with procedures.
- Clinical Support : Prepare exam rooms, assist physicians during exams or treatments, and ensure proper sterilization of medical instruments.
- Administrative Duties : Manage patient appointments, maintain patient records, and ensure proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Lab Work : Perform routine lab tests (urinalysis, blood draws, etc.) and ensure proper handling and packaging for testing.
- Patient Education : Provide patients with post-procedure instructions and health-related information.
- Billing & Coding : Assist with basic billing and coding for insurance claims and process patient payments.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with medical staff to ensure the overall smooth operation of the office.
Qualifications :
Certification : CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) preferred.Experience : Previous medical assisting experience is preferred but not required.Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, and proficiency in using EHR systems.Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for long periods, assist patients with mobility, and lift up to [X lbs].CPR / First Aid Certification : Preferred but not required.What We Offer :
