Job Details :

Setting : Inpatient - Uro Hospitalist

Job Duties : Rounding on In-Patients, performing procedures as needed, and responding to consults as called upon

Patient Volume : Census for unit usually grows to 20-25 over the weekend, with 15-20 consults each weekend also

Required Procedures : Stone care, stents, caths, cystoscopes, torsions (pediatrics included), incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand-assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy, etc.

MUST BE COMFORTABLE with : Trauma / open procedures - i.e., gunshot wounds that involve kidneys or testicles, stab wounds, bladder repair, etc.

EMR : EPIC

No AP support on weekends

Client Requirements : Locums MUST HAVE an active SC license, SC CSR, a DEA that is permanently registered in SC, and be a BC urology
