Education
Applicants must be currently enrolled in good standing in an approved nursing program or have graduated within the last 30 days (with possible extension up to 60 days under certain conditions).
Experience and Requirements
- Maintain qualifications and adhere to scope of practice as defined by regulatory standards.
- Perform nursing tasks such as medication administration (excluding chemotherapy, IV medications, and scheduled drugs), patient care activities, and documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
- Practice the eight rights of medication administration and report any side effects or concerns promptly to supervising RNs.
- Assist with patient positioning, hygiene, feeding, and safety, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members, demonstrating professionalism and confidentiality.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment with flexibility to cover various shifts including weekends and holidays.
