Summary
The Community Impact Specialist is responsible for building, growing, and maintaining Chobani's network of partners fighting food and nutrition insecurity in Twin Falls. This person will be an enthusiastic, trustworthy, and reliable relationship-builder who has an existing understanding of, and seeks to further understand, the food and nutrition insecurity needs of the Twin Falls community. They find creative and effective opportunities to meet those needs. This person will also be responsible for managing Chobani product donations across Twin Falls, as well as assisting in Chobani's participation in events to advance its community health and wellness initiatives. The ideal candidate will be confident and comfortable representing Chobani internally and externally, serving as a culture carrier and reinforcing Chobani's culture with a variety of audiences.
Responsibilities
- Understand opportunities for Chobani to deepen partnerships with local partners fighting food and nutrition insecurity
- Assist with coordinating and executing end-to-end on food insecurity projects, events, and initiatives that advance Chobani's impact priorities, including :
Coordinating on-site event activations (at Chobani or in the community), including set up and tear down
Performing vendor set-up and working with accounts payable to ensure payment, as relevantRecruiting, managing, and overseeing volunteersEnsuring excellent service and quality deliveryCompleting post-event evaluationsHandle product donations at events and regularly within the community to meet community requests and needsAssist with keeping team budget and records organized and up to dateAssist with the tracking, organization, and management inventory of department equipment, supplies, and swagPerform various administrative functions to ensure projects are delivered efficientlyBuild, elevate, protect, and defend the image and reputation of Chobani brandRepresent Chobani as a brand spokesperson as directed with media at activationsKeep event vehicles and assets in working and presentable orderPerform other duties as necessaryRequirements
Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferredEager to be deeply embedded in community work; has extensive knowledge (minimum 2 years experience) in similar rolesAbility to lift up to 25 pounds for product donationsAbility to drive pick-up truck with 28' trailer attached, for product donations and eventsExcellent ability to build trusted relationshipsAbility to make decisions independently using good judgment, while knowing when to ask for help / support when neededExcellent oral and written communicationProficient at driving results, understanding data, and reporting progress in sometimes ambiguous, and fluid environmentsWillingness to travel and work on weekendsEnthusiastic, reliable, and self-motivated with good time-management and prioritization skillsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401K match, short- and long-term disability coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, and tuition reimbursement. Compensation Range : $28.75-$42.75, plus bonus.
