French Florist in Westlake Village is seeking a creative, experienced, and passionate Lead Flower Designer to join and grow with our team. As our Lead Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to work with exquisite flowers from around the world and design arrangements that leave a lasting impact on our customers. We’re looking for someone who not only brings artistic floral talent, but also leadership skills to help build and inspire a strong, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Design and create stunning floral arrangements for a variety of occasions
Provide exceptional customer service and guide customers in their floral selections
Oversee scheduling, hiring, and training of designers, drivers, and future team members
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
Manage floral inventory and ensure supplies are stocked and fresh
Foster a positive team culture and ensure a high level of service and creativity
Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Prior experience in floral design with a strong understanding of styles, mechanics, and trends
Previous team leadership or management experience preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
Passion for flowers, design, and creating memorable customer experiences
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs (flower buckets, boxes, supplies)
Frequent use of hands and arms for cutting, arranging, and wrapping flowers
Comfortable working in a cooler environment and handling water-based materials
