ABOUT THE ROLE
Provide support to the operation and maintenance of the plant's equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Practice and promote safety while working with hourly plant positions in such a way as including, but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- The Engineer will work closely with equipment suppliers, plant staff to ensure the successful operation of the plant.
- Participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs) for new equipment.
- Ensure bill of materials (BOMS) and equipment history system match within both electronic and hard copy libraries.
- Analysis and elimination of repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA, and similar techniques.
- Support and guide sustainable improvements in Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of major equipment.
- Responsible for the process of gathering input and facilitating task completion through others.
- Research solutions to technical problems.
- Coordinate SAP system operations in the area of preventative maintenance routine (PMR) optimization and development with maintenance planners.
- Provide technical support, training, and development for maintenance functions with a specific focus on entrenching reliability concepts within the maintenance group.
- Be willing to manage various plant improvement projects.
- Be willing to supervise hourly & contracted employees when necessary.
- Participate in the maintenance on-call system.
- Be flexible and willing to work off-shifts when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education : Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred : Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
Required Work Experience : 0-3 Years.
Required Technical Skills : Excel, Word, Project, etc.
