Forsyth County has been one of the fastest growing areas in the US since the early 2000's, largely due to its proximity to Atlanta. Fans of the outdoors will want to check out Lake Lanier, a huge, 37,000 acre lake that offers fishing, boating, tubing, wake boarding and water skiing options. Forsyth's many parks offer scenic reprieves from urban living. Foodies flock to the Cumming Farmers Market, which is revered for its artisanal produce and crafts.
