Job descriptionMaster's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field. Possession of a provisional license per state regulations, if required. Educational background leading to or resulting in professional licensing. A passion for mental health and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Dedication to ongoing professional development, including access to free supervision and continuing education. Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care. Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new clients and families, fostering a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
- Provide individualized outpatient therapy for individuals and families, tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client, promoting healing and resilience.
- Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support maintaining stable functioning and empower clients in their mental health journey.
- Engage in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning, contributing your expertise to improve client care.
- Complete billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorizations promptly, upholding high professional standards.
- Collaborate with our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists to provide a holistic approach to mental health care.
