Exciting Opportunity for New Graduate Physical Therapists!

MedStar Health Physical Therapy is seeking enthusiastic recent graduates to join our renowned network of non-profit, hospital-based outpatient physical therapy services. We have positions available in various locations, and we invite you to be part of our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations including assessments and documentation of findings, while fostering patient and family involvement in goal-setting.
  • Effectively implement treatment plans based on evaluations and patient progress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Ensure thorough discharge planning and follow-up care, maintaining accurate and timely documentation throughout the patient's care journey.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills and meet productivity targets, while adapting to the needs of patients to ensure accessibility to care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and mentor students and new staff as part of your role.

    • Qualifications :

  • Completion of a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
  • A graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Licensure in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and / or Virginia is required based on your work location.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
