Atrium Health Navicent proudly boasts an STS 3-star Heart and Vascular Center which houses cardiac catheterization labs, dedicated state of the art operating rooms, hybrid OR Cath lab, EP lab, CVICU, and a cardiac rehabilitation center; all staffed by a dedicated team of highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologists, Perfusionists, Physician Assistants, nurses, and support personal. Our cardiologists perform a broad range of services including inpatient consultations and daily rounding, Cardiomems, biopsies, Barostim, echocardiogram / EKG interpretation, and support an outpatient heart failure patient clinic and a cardiogenic shock team. Advanced treatment options include LVADs and the total artificial heart; additional surgical and minimally invasive options including bypass surgery, heart valve surgery, and implantable heart devices.

Participate in multidisciplinary selection committee meetings, heart team, cardiogenic shock team, and as well as educational conferences.

Requirements of Ideal Candidates :

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology

Proficient in broad based cardiology procedures

Active Georgia License or ability to obtain.

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
