SUMMARY :
The Connecticut Green Bank (hereafter "Green Bank") is seeking a Summer Associate to join our Legal team for Summer 2026.
Green Bank, a quasi-public authority, is the nation's first state-level "Green Bank," leveraging public funds to increase and accelerate private investment in the green economy of Connecticut. The Summer Legal Associate position is a paid internship and an exciting opportunity to gain valuable professional legal experience in a unique and innovative work environment in the rapidly growing clean energy and environmental infrastructure sectors. The Summer Associate will work collaboratively with the Legal team on projects related to clean energy and environmental infrastructure and in the furtherance of the Green Bank's programs and operations, including on a variety of transactional and regulatory-related projects. We are seeking law students interested in matching their academic work with professional experience, and who have a strong interest in finance, banking law, clean energy, and environmental infrastructure.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING :
Current matriculation in a law degree program that is determined to be appropriate preparation for employment in the designated functional area is required. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills. Preference will be given to candidates entering their third year of law school.
