Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,200 per week in Sioux City, IA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Stepdown Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : At least 2 years of previous Stepdown experience required, At least 1 travel contract completed License : State License - Iowa Certifications : BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have : Work history / resume, Skills checklist, License verification, Copy of required certifications, References - 1 supervisory reference required, Proof of Taxable Address Description : This position offers same-day interviews. Please prepare qualified candidates to receive a call from a specified area code. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Travelers must be more than 50 miles from the market. Patient ratio is 1 : 5. Patient population includes CHF, cardiac angiogram before and after care, ablation, pacemaker, tee, cardioversion, stroke, and management of cardiac drips. Drips include nitro, amiodarone, cardizem, nirdipine, heparin, lidocaine. Titration is required. Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving). There is a limit of 1 day request off between specific dates for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.
