Job descriptionExecute case strategy with other attorneys, paralegals, clients, and support staff. Manages high-level / high-asset cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case; preparing for depositions; reviewing standard court documents; drafting letters; writing and reviewing discovery; dictating responses to opposing counsel and generating status reports. Keep clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress. Perform case audits with legal team weekly Staying Organized by keeping files organized files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; researching case law; inputting information into file database and case management software; confirming case status with support staff and communicating regularly with clients. Other responsibilities as assigned. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Attorney who is licensed to practice in both Washington and Oregon to join our growing team.
A successful candidate for this role possesses excellent communication skills, is comfortability working in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. We offer guided career growth opportunities including department chairmanships, individual and area office management, junior partnership, and senior partnership opportunities.
Primary responsibilities :
- Full representation of clients in legal matters from start to finish on a case.
- Utilize substantial knowledge of Washington and Oregon Rules of Civil
