Program Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Program Manager for a contract position with our client located in Akron, OH. We’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead a dynamic, fast-paced initiative. This role will oversee five Project Managers, including one from a Service Provider, and requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Pay Rate : $80.00 / hour to $100.00 / hour. The payrate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Program Manager job responsibilities include :

• Oversee and coordinate multiple projects under a single program
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
• Experience managing technology rollouts with individual configurations (e.g., desktop or tech deployments across multiple locations)
• Strong operational background (Desktop Support, Help Desk, or Network Services)
• Skilled at handling a large volume of small tasks / projects (‘death by papercut’ approach)
• Hands-on experience in operational roles before moving into management
• Flexible approach to project management (not strictly PMP-driven)
• Comfortable reporting to various levels of leadership
• Ensure smooth execution in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
