Job Title : Cath Lab Tech Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : Cath Lab Tech Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 hours (08 : 00 - 18 : 00) Experience : Minimum of 2 years required License : ARRT R Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS Must-Have : Epic experience within the last 6 months is required Travel experience is preferred Description : The Cath Lab Tech will assist in the operation of the cath lab. This position includes the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sterile fields for procedures. The tech will participate in the setup of equipment and instrumentation. Call is required for weeknights and weekends. Flexibility in start and end times is necessary as cases are scheduled between 08 : 00 and 19 : 00. The Cath Lab Tech will complete necessary charting and documentation in the system. Candidates should possess strong skills in identifying and responding to life-threatening arrhythmias. Experience with diagnostic catheterizations is needed. The role requires maintaining patient safety and comfort during procedures. Additional skills in equipment setup and room circulation are essential. The Cath Lab Tech must work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. Holiday coverage may be required. No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered for this position.
