• Description : AtlantiCare southeastern New Jersey’s largest health system and a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient is seeking a visionary and innovative Chief of Gastroenterology to lead the development of a high-impact academic division that blends excellence in clinical care research and education in alignment with its Vision 2030 transformation strategy.Job Description : This is a high-impact LEADERSHIP POSTION open only to physicians NOT APPs specializing in Gastroenterology. As Chief of Gastroenterology at AtlantiCare you will : Design build and lead a cutting-edge GI program aligned with AtlantiCare’s Vision 2030 goalsCreate a dynamic academic GI division emphasizing research education and advanced clinical careDevelop and expand advanced GI services including complex endoscopic procedures inpatient and outpatient GI careRecruit train and inspire a multidisciplinary team including GI hospitalists faculty fellows and support staffServe as a hands-on clinical leader providing expert consultation and management of complex GI casesDrive collaboration across specialties especially in cancer care leveraging strategic partnerships with Drexel University and The Cleveland ClinicEnsure consistent endoscopic block time and manage robust referral volumes from day oneFoster workforce development through mentoring training and culture-building initiativesEnhance access and reduce disparities by engaging with underserved communitiesRequired certifications at start include BLS ACLS DEA and CSR / CDSOpen to candidates who have history of malpractice or licensing issues with limitations considered.This is a high-impact leadership position where the successful candidate will shape GI care delivery and education for Atlantic Ocean and Cape May Counties in New Jersey.Not open to Advanced Practice Providers APPs.Not open to 1099 contract or locums candidates.Not open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship.Open to experienced gastroenterologists only no new gradsExperience starting up a program or leadership experience as chief or medical director - PREFERREDCompensation and Benefits : Offering 100000 Sign-On Bonus Competitive salary with RVU-based incentives guaranteed during the initial growth phaseRelocation reimbursement provided403b and 457b retirement plans with non-elective employer contributionsFull malpractice insurance with tail coverageGenerous PTO CME allowance and NJ Sick LeaveMedical Dental Vision Life and Disability InsuranceShort-term and Long-term disability coverageTuition Reimbursement amp CME SupportFlexible Spending Accounts for healthcare and dependent careWellness programs and voluntary benefits including Pet InsuranceWork-life balance supported by a manageable 1 : 4 call schedule and robust APP team
