As SEMI grows and complexity increases, this role will also help scale fund compliance processes in close collaboration with the SEMI Foundation and other cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee international accounting operations and month-end close activities across global entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and U.S. GAAP-compliant financial submissions for
local-to-GAAP reconciliation processes and coordinate with local service providers to ensure statutory compliance and audit readiness.Serve as the accounting lead on international ERP enhancements, reporting automation, and other system transformation
and scale global closing, reporting, and intercompany processes to support growing operational complexity.Support both consolidated and local statutory audits by preparing and reviewing necessary
evolving international tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements and assess their impact on reporting and compliance.Partner with FP&A, tax, legal, and SEMI Foundation teams to design scalable compliance frameworks for managing multiple funding sources.Develop tools and processes to improve fund tracking, restricted asset management, and grant accounting across international entities.Provide technical accounting guidance for global transactions, system changes, and international entity structuring.Participate in global expansion initiatives, including new entity setup, operational integration, and policy alignment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years focused on international operations or multi-entity
understanding of US GAAP and experience applying international or local accounting standards.Demonstrated success leading ERP or financial system
in accounting software such as NetSuite; advanced Excel skills required.Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to influence across regions and departments.Familiarity with fund compliance, restricted asset tracking, and federal grant reporting.Knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance) or global grant compliance frameworks.What Success Looks LikeInternational close processes are efficient, accurate, and seamlessly integrated with HQ
