About The Position

Must-Have : Epic charting experience

Description :

Provide care for general medical-surgical patients.

Work with neurosurgical patients and a large number of orthopedic surgery patients, primarily hips, knees, and shoulders.

Nights will consist of 3 shifts per week.

Weekend shifts are required based on unit needs.

Floating to all medical-surgical units may be required to meet facility needs.

The nurse-to-patient ratios may adjust based on staffing and unit needs.

Candidates must be comfortable with flexible staffing ratios.

Daily census may reach up to 30 patients.

The unit focuses on orthopedic trauma and elective surgeries.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Previous charge experience is preferred for candidates.

Candidates must be familiar with isolation precautions and telemetry monitoring.

An average of 7 weekend shifts will be worked per contract period.

Approval of time off is limited to a maximum of 10 days within the 13-week contract.

Specific dates will have restrictions for requested time off.

Previous travel experience is favorable but not required.

Modules and training will occur during the first day of onboarding.

All candidates must comply with health and safety protocols applicable to patient care.
