Job descriptionAverage Patient Volume : 22-28 patients per day Demographics : Demographics : Adults with a wide range of cardiac conditions. Visit Types : General cardiology consultations, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing. Consultative service only - hospitalists manage admissions. Advanced diagnostic capabilities, including Echocardiography (TTE / TEE), Stress testing (treadmill, nuclear), Cardiac CT and MRI, 256-slice CT scanner for advanced imaging. Support from a full cardiac device clinic and a team of dedicated technicians. Sign-on Bonus : $ 30k+ sign-on bonus to assist with the transition. POSITION SUMMARY :
Conway Medical Center is seeking a General Cardiologist to join its growing team to meet the increasing demand for cardiovascular services in the community. The role will focus on non-invasive and general cardiology care, supported by advanced diagnostic and imaging technology. The physician will work closely with a collaborative team of cardiologists, nurse practitioners, and a strong primary care referral base to provide comprehensive cardiac care.
POSITION OVERVIEW :
- Primarily outpatient clinical role - with inpatient responsibilities.
- Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs : 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-12pm)
- Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week)
- 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
- Call Schedule : 1 : 6 rotation for general cardiology call.
