The Insurance Agent sells insurance and assists customers with all insurance needs. Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Contacts prospective customers about insurance products and policies.
• Meets with potential customers to discuss adequacy of existing insurance coverage and related financial resources.
• Explains various insurance policies and products to potential and existing customers; guides customers in selecting coverage to best meet their needs.
• Suggests modifications and updates to customer's existing insurance policies.
• Builds customized insurance policies and packages to meet customer's needs.
• Processes insurance policy renewals.
• Assists customers with filing insurance claims.
• Maintains print and electronic records and files as required.
• Promotes and represents the agency and makes referrals to other departments.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Performance Management : Provide helpful and informative service and support to all customers and associates. Troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
