Job Description\n

American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a full-time outpatient and inpatient role with day shifts and a 1 : 6 patient ratio.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position covers both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy at an acute care hospital with a 71-bed skilled extended care facility
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm
  • Patient ratio is 1 : 6
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • May float within scope to meet facility needs
  • Uses Cerner for hospital charting and Point Click Care (PCC) for long-term care
  • Level IV trauma hospital setting
  • Local candidates accepted with no radius restrictions
  • Free housing is available for travelers
  • Physical therapists may be required to float within their scope of practice as needed
  • No RTO permitted within the first two weeks due to orientation; limit RTO to one week maximum during assignment
  • Dress code allows any scrub color per facility policy
  • Two professional references from supervisors within the past two years may be required for consideration
  • Free parking available for staff
  • Assignment is not open to first-time healthcare travelers

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in physical therapy
  • BLS certification required
  • Active state physical therapy license or compact license required for consideration; pending licenses not accepted
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
  • Not open to first-time travelers
  • License required if applicable
