About The Position

Must-Have : Must be open to floating where most needed.
Description :
ICU RN position available, with a requirement to float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
Shift consists of 3x12 hour shifts.
ICU patient ratios are 1 : 1 or 1 : 2.
Medical Surgical Telemetry patient ratios are 1 : 4 or 1 : 5.
Candidates with 2 years of experience are required.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend coverage is required, with expectations to work every other weekend.
Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
There are no on-call requirements for this position.
Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to float and work in various units based on staffing needs.
Blocked scheduling may be considered based on unit needs.
Local candidates are welcome to apply.
The facility allows for potential call-offs during the assignment.
Travelers will work in a flex pool, thus requiring well-rounded experience in critical care and medical-surgical telemetry.
Unit equipped with Liko lifts in nearly all patient rooms.
Work includes caring for critically ill patients, with a strong emphasis on neuro and trauma experience.
Standard medical-surgical and telemetry equipment will be used.
Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.
Candidates should be capable of managing various critically ill patients and have prior experience in PCU and / or Medical Surgical / Telemetry settings.
Comfort with floating as part of the role is essential.
Candidate must be a team player and have a flexible attitude towards unit assignments.
