Senior Material Handler
The Senior Material Handler is responsible for performing shipping, material movement, and receiving duties, as well as confirming inventory levels. This role directly impacts both internal and external customers, as well as the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality goals of the division. Routine internal contacts may include Sales Administration, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Material Handling, and Planning.
Primary Duties
- Assist in the preparation of customer orders by picking, packing, and labeling products according to established guidelines and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and efficient workflow.
- Perform a range of supply chain logistics tasks, such as receiving, replenishment, and picking, while strictly following WMS procedures and safety guidelines.
- Address routine operational issues as they arise, applying established protocols to resolve problems efficiently and maintain workflow continuity.
- Assist in packing and shipping activities, ensuring that all products are accurately prepared for dispatch and meet quality control requirements.
- Processes all required paperwork to ensure the material transactions occur for all departmental activities.
- Work with the department Associate Team Leaders and Team Leaders to ensure compliance with all cGMP, ISO and FDA guidelines for warehouse activities.
- May need to drive a truck for material transport of product from one location to another.
- Provides training to others within the department.
- Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
