Electrical Design Engineer

Selectek is seeking an  Electrical Design Engineer  to join their firm and help with the production of electrical power and lighting design drawings using Revit.

Job Duties :

• Layout and design for electrical systems for power distribution, lighting, receptacles, and fire alarm in commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate system scope, design layout and drawings with clients and other disciplines
• Assist in the production of detailed drawings that meet customer requirements and local building codes.
• Some travel required for client meetings and job site visits.

Work closely with lead engineers to develop electrical power and lighting design drawings for their commercial projects and grow into more complex engineering work.

Sponsorship : No, must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

Salary range : $75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Location of job : Charlotte, NC

Hours and shift :   Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM may be able to flex start

Work from home : Some after they have been there a while. They can WFH 2 or 3 days a week depending on skillset.

Working remote :   no

Overtime expected :  When needed for projects

Travel :   Occasional up to 10% or 15%

Work attire :   Business Casual
