Job description

A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join their growing team in the Bronx on a Part-time basis.

About the Opportunity :

Shift : Day
Schedule : Monday to Friday
Hours : Part-time (20 hours a week)
Setting : Inpatient Psychiatric Health Facility

Responsibilities :

Perform physical therapy consultant services on site clients / patients

Assess and evaluate client's condition in order to develop a physical therapy treatment plan based upon a physician's request

Review clients treatment goals, treatment and medical history

Perform and interpret standard muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests

Administer appropriate physical therapy treatment when indicated

Prepare documentation of assessment, evaluation, delivery of treatment services and patient progress for client's medical record

Conduct a brace / shoe clinic as needed, nerve, joint and functional ability tests

Administer appropriate physical therapy treatment when indicated

Prepare documentation of assessment, evaluation, delivery of treatment services and patient progress for client's medical record

Maintain a performance improvement program related to structure, process and outcomes

Qualifications :

1+ year of Physical Therapy experience in a Clinical setting

Active NYS Physical Therapist (PT) license
