About The Position

We are seeking board-certified Interventional Cardiologists to join our locum coverage pool beginning Jan / Feb 2026 in Paducah, KY . This is a flexible opportunity offering 3-7 days per month with a focus on inpatient and EMTALA call coverage.

Job Requirements

Practice Setting : Inpatient / EMTALA Call

Clinic Patients : No ambulatory work

Group Size : 2 Interventional Cardiologists

Support : Other Interventional Cardiologists present during locum coverage

Patient Population : Adult

Documentation / EMR : Epic Cupid

Required Procedures :

Balloon Angioplasties

Coronary Angioplasty

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)

Heart Catheterization

Coronary Angiograms

General Cardiology Responsibilities :

Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital

General cardiology consults as needed

Reading studies including EKG, ECHOs, and Stress tests (including nuclear stress).

Board Certified – REQUIRED

Active KY License & DEA – REQUIRED (IMLC considered for 3-7 days / month availability)

ACLS – REQUIRED

Shift Description :

24-hour on-call shifts (7am – 7am)

3-7 days per month
