Urologist

WellSpan Health is seeking several urologists to join the well-respected team in Chambersburg, PA. This collegial group is currently comprised of 5 physicians and 2 APPs. Chambersburg offers excellent schools, multiple recreational, cultural & historic activities, and proximity to the Baltimore / DC metro area. A favorable tax climate, excellent healthcare & easy access to all major metropolitan areas of the Northeast, have made South Central PA a top retirement destination.

Position Highlights :

Call is currently 1 : 4.

Typical schedule is 3-4 clinic days & 1-2 days in the OR.

Surgeries performed at Chambersburg Hospital (CH) & ASC.

The group’s Uro Hospitalist rounds & does inpatient consults.

APPs have their own panel of patients & assist with work ups.

Excellent Practice Manager & dedicated / long-term staff.

Collegial collaboration w / General Surgery, OB / GYN, Oncology & Uro / Gyn.

CH is a busy 274-bed community hospital w / nine ORs & two XI Da Vinci Robots

7,300+ surgeries performed in FY23.

The ED sees 53,000+ patients per year.

Qualifications :

Board eligible / certified

Robotic surgery experience is preferred but not required.
