Must-Have :

Meditech experience required.

Travel experience required.

No first-time travelers accepted.

Floating only when needed to other Med-Surg units or to ED / ICU to care for floor patients.

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse specializing in Med-Surg / Telemetry.

The contract length is 13 weeks, with shifts scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Every other weekend is required.

The nurse will care for patients with conditions including pneumonia, alcohol withdrawal, oncology, renal disease, stroke, COPD, and CHF.

Skills required include telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, phlebotomy, wound care, and respiratory management.

The unit has a total of 38 beds, providing care to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Interdisciplinary support teams include IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Patient ratios are 6 : 1 for both day and night shifts.

Proficiency in Meditech charting is preferred.

Prior employees are not eligible for rehire.
