Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced with general Nuclear Medicine and PET / CT procedures, with BLS and NMTCB (PET) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care setting within the Nuclear Medicine and PET / CT department
  • Responsibilities include general Nuclear Medicine and PET / CT duties
  • Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts and flexibility as needed
  • No weekend shifts required as standard, but on-call rotation is required
  • On-call coverage Monday–Friday from 4 pm–7 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am–2 pm, with a 1-hour response time
  • No floating requirements
  • Uses Cerner PowerChart EMR, experience preferred
  • Duties include performing both general Nuclear Medicine and PET / CT procedures
  • On-call responsibilities are part of the role, with frequency dependent on team size
  • Orientation is offered weekly
  • No BSN required for this position

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
  • Current BLS and NMTCB (PET) certification required
  • ISDOH; CNMT or ARRT (N); CPR certification required
  • PET / CT registration and experience preferred
  • Y-90 Microsphere Therapy experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
